Extended delivery: Lausanne is 26,4 km beyond our last standard zone. We deliver anyway — you pay the zone 4 base price plus CHF 2.65 per additional kilometre. The surcharge appears as a separate item in the order form before you order.
Lausanne’s steep streets between the Cité and Ouchy call for a level spot that can take the weight of the skip; let us know about narrow or steep access when you order. Because the surcharge applies to every trip, one large, well-filled skip pays off more than several small ones.

Frequently asked questions — skip hire in Lausanne
Does Muldex deliver skips to Lausanne?
Yes, through extended delivery. Lausanne is 50,4 to 64 kilometres from the Bex depot and so outside the standard zones — we deliver anyway, with a per-kilometre surcharge that is shown openly. The postcodes covered are 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, 1006, 1007 and 7 more.
How much does a skip cost in Lausanne?
Lausanne is outside our four standard zones. The price is therefore the zone 4 base price plus a surcharge for each kilometre beyond 24 km. Both are shown openly in the order form before you order — there is no extra charge that you only see on the invoice.
How quickly can I have a skip in Lausanne?
Usually within 24 to 48 hours. You choose the delivery date and the half-day directly when you order.
How quickly is the skip delivered?
We usually deliver within 24–48 hours of your order. When you order, you choose the delivery date and the half-day (morning or afternoon).
What types of waste can I put in a skip?
We offer skips for building rubble, excavated soil, mixed rubble, concrete, roof tiles and bricks, inert materials, bulky waste, green waste, waste wood, flat glass, Eternit and combustible waste for incineration. Each skip takes one type of waste only, kept separate.
Are the prices all-inclusive?
Yes. The price shown includes transport (delivery and collection), disposal and the statutory VAT of 8.1%. No hidden costs.
Which cantons does Muldex deliver to?
We serve the whole of German-speaking Switzerland and French-speaking Switzerland (Romandie) — Geneva, Vaud, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Jura included. In Valais, we deliver to the Chablais and the Martigny area from our depot in Bex. Ticino, Graubünden and Uri are not yet served.
How do I pay for my skip?
You can choose: pay straight away with TWINT, or by invoice, payable within 15 days once the job is complete. With TWINT, you receive all the payment details (with your order number as the payment reference) by email and on the confirmation page.
How long can the skip stay?
The first 14 days are included in the price. Each additional day is charged at CHF 5 per day — shown transparently and only billed at collection.
Do I need a permit for the skip?
Not on private ground — a driveway, courtyard or building site. As soon as the skip stands on public ground, that is on the road, the pavement or a public parking space, you need a permit from the municipality or the city police. The person placing the order obtains the permit; on request, we provide the skip’s dimensions and weight.
What happens if I don’t separate the waste properly?
Each skip is filled with a single material — one type of waste per skip. If foreign material is found when the load arrives at the disposal plant, the load has to be reclassified, which causes extra costs. If in doubt, just ask us before you fill the skip.
